What you'll need: 2-4 Yukon Gold Potatoes sliced into rounds 1/2 green bell pepper seeds removed, chopped 1/2 red bell pepper seeds removed, chopped 1/2 onion peeled and sliced 1 tablespoon coconut oil What to do: Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onions and cook for 1 minute. Add potatoes and cook until brown. Add peppers and cook until brown. Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy & be in health. Stuffed Cabbage
What you'll need: 1 small head of cabbage 4 cups tomato sauce 1 pound ground beef 1 pound ground mild pork sausage 2 cloves of garlic peeled and chopped 1 onion peeled and chopped 2 tablespoons lard or duck fat Italian seasoning salt & pepper What to do: Peal apart cabbage leaves and cook until tender (5 minutes). Drain and put aside. Pour 2 cups of sauce in bottom of a large roasting pan. In a large skillet heat oil and saute onion in lard or duck fat until translucent. Add garlic and cook for 3 seconds Add Italian seasoning and all ground beef. Cook until brown. Add salt and pepper to taste. Lie a cabbage leaf on the counter and place ground meat in center. Roll up and secure with a tooth pick. Place in large roasting pan. Continue with remaining cabbage and ground meat. Cover all stuffed cabbages with 2 cups or sauce. Bake, covered on 350 for 40 minuets. Serve with Locatelli Pecorino Romano cheese. Enjoy & be in health. Yesterday my husband said "I could go for a brownie".
After a failed attempt at a coconut flour brownie, I baked the most amazing grain free brownie ever. Here's what you'll need: 1 cup nut butter of your choice 6 eggs 3/4 cup maple syrup 2 tablespoons vanilla extract 1 cup raw cacao powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional) Here's what to do: Grease a 9 X 13 glass baking dish. Line the bottom of the dish with parchment paper and grease it again Process all ingredients (except the dark chocolate chips) in the Vita Mix until smooth. Add the chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until knife come out clean. Variations:
