2 pounds bone in skin on chicken thighs 1 red onion peeled and quartered 4 carrots peeled and chooped 1 bunch of kale deveined and chopped 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning Salt and pepper Here's what to do: salt and pepper chicken and season with poultry seasoning. Place chicken, carrots and onion in a large roasting pan. Bake on 350 for 1 hour our until chicken reads 160. Nestle kale down into pan around the chicken. Set oven to broil on 500 degrees and cook for 5 or 10 minutes or until skin is crispy. Be in health. Here's what you'll need:
1 stick of butter or a 1/2 cup of ghee 1/4 cup flour or arrowroot 3 cups of milk or broth 2 cups of turkey cut into cubes 1 bag of peas 3 cups of cauliflower (frozen or fresh) 1 bag of elbow macaroni cooked and drained 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning Here's what to do: Cook peas and cauliflower and set aside. Melt butter, add flour and make a roux. Slowly add milk to make a thick sauce. Add turkey, peas, cauliflower, macaroni and poultry seasoning. Stir and pour into a 9X13 glass baking dish. Bake in the oven on 350 for 15-20 minutes. What you'll need:
1 pound of brussel sprouts, ends trimmed and cut in half 4 cups of water 2 tablespoons of lard, butter or coconut oil salt and pepper to taste What to do: Bring water to a boil in a medium stock pot. Add brussel sprouts and boil for 10 minutes. Drain. In a large skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Saute brussel sprouts until some are lightly charred. Serve with salt and pepper to taste. If you are short on time add less water. In a small sauce pan heat 1 cup of sauce to a low simmer. Crack 1 or 2 eggs in the sauce and cover. Cook to your desired doneness (light, medium or hard cooked) Serve with salt and pepper to taste and Peccorino Romano Cheese. Be in health. |
