What you'll need:
1 pound of brussel sprouts, ends trimmed and cut in half
4 cups of water
2 tablespoons of lard, butter or coconut oil
salt and pepper to taste
What to do:
Bring water to a boil in a medium stock pot.
Add brussel sprouts and boil for 10 minutes. Drain.
In a large skillet, heat oil on medium heat.
Saute brussel sprouts until some are lightly charred.
Serve with salt and pepper to taste.
