When I sat down to write today, I felt a little tickle in my throat. My eyes were heavy and my nose started to run a bit.
A simple immune booster is turmeric, ginger and honey. In a small bowl mix 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon ginger with enough raw honey to make a nice paste. Fill a glass with water. Fill your spoon with the turmeric, ginger honey mixture. Swallow it down and chase with water. Alternatively, you can put all three ingredients in warm water and sip. Dress up warm, wrap up and rest. Here's what you'll need:
2 ripe avocados 2 tablespoons raw cacao or carob powder 1 tablespoon maple syrup or to taste 2 egg yolks from pastured chickens pinch of sea salt 1/4 cup milk of your choice Here's what to do: Put all the ingredients except for the milk in a Vatamix or high speed blender. Blend until smooth. Add milk to desired consistency. Be in health. :) |
