How can I send my family off to school and work with a good hot lunch without cooking a full meal at 6AM?
The slow cooker.
Here's what you'll need:
1 cup water or broth
1 onion sliced
1 cup cabbage chopped
3 carrots chopped
2-3 pound brisket
Here's what to do:
Salt and pepper the brisket.
Around 7PM at night put all the ingredients in order, into the slow cooker.
Turn on high. Put the lid on.
Wake up to hot lunch, ready for the thermos.
